Digital Scanning

Did you ever hate having messy dental impression material placed in your mouth when you were undergoing treatment for a crown, bridge, implant, or Invisalign? Well, so did we and that’s why we’ve introduced digital full arch scanning to Greenboro Dental to enhance the overall patient experience.

The iTero Element 5D Plus (new in our office in 2023) lets us take full arch 3D scans of your mouth that’s faster, more comfortable, and most importantly more accurate than traditional putty based dental impressions.

Thinking about Invisalign, but not sure if you’re a candidate? Schedule a consult and we’ll be able to take a quick 3D scan of your upper and lower teeth and use the iTero’s Invisalign outcome simulator so that you can see what your teeth will look like before and after treatment.

Digital Radiographs. X-rays. Greenboro Dental. Dental Office in Ottawa South.

Digital Radiographs

While dental radiographs (x-rays) are valuable diagnostic tools, we respect that each patient should be exposed to as little radiation as possible. That’s why we use digital radiographs to investigate areas that our eyes can’t see such as in-between teeth or under your gums. The result: less radiation and more accurate, detailed information.

HD Intra-Oral Photos

So you’ve been told you have a big crack in your tooth and it requires treatment to fix. While we want you to have confidence in any treatment we recommend, wouldn’t you want to see the crack before committing to any treatment? Well, so would we and that’s why we utilize high definition intra-oral pictures to illustrate areas that need to be addressed and educate patients regarding treatment before any work is done.
